Christmas 2020
In 2020 amidst the pandemic that gripped the world, here at Harmston, Christmas events still carried on - they were just a little bit different than usual.
We offered:
The Hunt for Rudolphs Nose
Families grabbed a map and pencil and searched the village for Rudolph's noses, in return for a delicious gingerbread Rudolph.
Ribbons
Residents could share a festive messge by writing it on a ribbon and tying it on the village tree for everyone to read (as we couldn't meet up).
Nominate a Neighbour
Residents were invitied to nominate locals who lived alone. Then a gift and card, and some conversation (safely distanced of course!) were delivered by the PC on the days running up to Christmas.
Deck the Halls
Residents were encouraged to go wild and decorate their homes exterior to spread some festive cheer!
