
Letter written to Highways in opposition to the BESS planning application
Last Thursday Harmston Parish Council held an Extraordinary Meeting in order to discuss the planning application 25/0533/FUL
Thank you to those residents who attended.
The Clerk and councillors from Coleby Parish Council were invited to the meeting, and kindly accepted.
After listening to residents and Coleby Parish Council representatives, and considering research made ahead of the meeting, Harmston Parish council unanimously voted to object to the planning application for the proposed battery storage unit at Coleby,
A draft was written for the planning portal.
In addition to this, the Parish Council drafted a letter to Lincolnshire Highways explaining why they would be objecting, and asking them to take their letter into consideration BEFORE submitting their decision.
