Information regarding works being carried out at Harmston Memorial Hall from Monday 24th February 2025
HMH has arranged for an upgrade of its incoming water supply and civil works.
The first part was carried out in November and the second part will commence on Monday 24th February 2025.
These works will involve excavations from the main entrance gate, through the grass bank and along the concrete path / fence leading to the rear bar fire exit door.
Whilst safety measures will be in place we ask for your care and attention if you are visiting the hall over this 3 day period.
Anglian Water are scheduled to commence the final phase of this important work on the 24th February 2025 and complete within 3 days.
A Road Closure along School Lane will be in place to install the new water main and a new meter will be installed in the pavement next to the entrance gate where the new blue water pipe is clearly visible.
Vehicle access will still be available from either Hill Top or High Street depending on the stage of their work however parking directly outside the hall will be restricted and we would encourage all visitors to park away from the Hall further up School Lane towards the High Street. Please take care not to block our neighbours driveway entrances.
