Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
The Queens Canopy
Following a resident kindly applying for some bare root trees as part of the Queens Canopy scheme to celebrate Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee, the Chair and some of the Harmston Young Farmers spent a sunny Sunday afternoon planting them around the perimetre of the play area and along the new fence in the play area.
Village celebrations
The Parish Council were involved in the organising of the different events that took place in Harmston, as part of the Working Party for the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
Commemorative Gift
The Parish Council were very pleased to be able to fund the purchasing of boxed beautiful commemorative coins for our school aged residents, as part of the Working Party for the Queens Platinum Jubilee. Adults were asked to register their child, and then coins were purchased and delivered to the registered children.
